Oryx Fibre Infrastructure is an open access fibre optic network provider in Namibia that owns and operates long distance (backhaul and long haul) fibre infrastructure.
We own our secure transmission and backbone fibre infrastructure and provide connectivity services to telecommunications operators, Internet service providers, media conglomerates, tertiary education institutions, municipalities and government organizations, on equal terms.

Oryx Fibre adheres to the Communications Regulatory Authority of Namibia (CRAN) and provides regulated open access and neutral Layer 1 & Layer 2 fibre backhaul and long-haul data services that will develop reliable and redundant fibre routes in Namibia and offer this service to all Namibian network providers.

Our state-of-the-art network monitoring centre, provides round-the-clock monitoring and maintenance to ensure that our network remains up and running 24/7. Oryx Fibre is connected to both Swakopmund landing stations giving access to the Equiano and WACS cables and thus ensuring reliability and we can act as redundant partners to other accredited service providers.
